Blair started playing hockey at age 11 in Calgary, and his brief career lasted 3 years before being distracted by other sports. Blair picked up the game again at age 25 and played in a weekly pickup beer league. Mmm.... beer.

After a move to the Bay area and a winter off, the hockey bug has struck again, and he is now getting his weekly hockey fix with the IceCutters. His hockey heroes are Wayne Gretzky and Ray Bourque. His dream is to ride his stick like Tiger Williams after scoring on a breakaway.
