After a good showing
last season on the second forward line, Boucher, pronounced ‘Boo shay’, is
back and in better shape than ever, and determined to throw the King
Kong-sized monkey off his back that has resulted in a very frustrating
scoring drought for the former defenseman. Boucher's pre-season contract dispute was eventually
settled in arbitration for an undisclosed amount, although many insiders
believe the two-year deal to be worth about six million rubles per year. While some believe that's a bit
"robust" of a contract for a player in an extended points scoring
slump, he full well intends to prove the naysayers wrong. Boucher was recently wed to supermodel Wendy Kuehner, and hails from Silicon Valley where the two live in their new 822 square foot condo estate. |
